$150 Honoraria provided – sign up today!
Day Eight is pleased to be offering our youth/caregiver pair Bring Joy Back to School programs this fall, through support from Learn24 and individual donors to Day Eight.
A total of ten pairs are invited to participate in each event – first come, first served, and please click on the appropriate link below to sign up.
These programs are offered exclusively for individual school communities and you must be a member of that school community to participate. For example, you must be a member of the KippDC community to sign up to participate in the KippDC event, or a member of the Moten community to participate in the Moten event. Each participant pair will receive a $150 honorarium for their participation in the shared poetry workshop and performance.
Poet educator Regie Cabico will again be leading the workshops. The workshops for participants will run from 5:00-6:30pm, and then from 6:30-8:00pm the entire school community is invited to join the workshop participants in a performance of the poetry written during the workshop. Free food and drink will be provided to the workshop participants.
