Bourgeon’s mission, through the online publication and community initiatives, is twofold: to increase participation in the arts and to improve access to the arts. Founded in 2005, the arts magazine Bourgeon substantively connects new audience to new artwork, supporting the highest achievements in the arts.
Now in its second season, the dance company Bettmann Dances is driven by a compelling vision of dance as a part of the public pursuit of civilization. The company is currently in the midst of a multi-year exploration of security, set to premiere 9/11. The company is available for arts education and public performances, lecture demonstrations, residences, and workshops.
