Recognizing the unique cultural, historic, and religious experiences of Jewish people, particularly since October 7th, Day Eight’s literary magazine, the Mid-Atlantic Review, is pleased to announce an open call for poetry submissions for a special section of the magazine, The Jewish Experience.
This opportunity for Jewish poets, and individuals of all identities, to reflect on the Jewish experience fits within Day Eight’s commitment to the healing of the world through the arts and the Mid-Atlantic Review’s commitment to creating publishing opportunities for all writers.
Submissions are open from August 12 – September 10, 2024 and will publish October and November, 2024 in the magazine. Selections for the section will be made by editors Ori Z Soltes and Robert Bettmann. Submissions are free and are accepted only through the Mid-Atlantic Review submittable here.
