Laura McCarty Literary Marathon Campaign Page

From Laura McCarty

Day Eight’s writing programs for youth are exceptional and impactful. As an author published by Day Eight it’s my pleasure to witness the impact that their programs have on DC-area youth, particularly and including their writing programs for women and girls.

I have donated and I’m asking for your support to help me meet my overall campaign goal to raise $600 for Day Eight.”

About the Campaign

The Literary Marathon is raising funds to support Day Eight’s youth programs. Writing is a tool that saves lives. It gives voice to those who feel like they have none and opens doors that would remain closed. Day Eight works to provide that lifeline to the people of Washington, D.C. and beyond.
